The main house
You are likely to spend several months to a year at Villa Fonty Housing, and it is the ideal home during your studies at the INSEAD, living in your own private space and being able to socialise with two other residents when you chose.
The living room, kitchen, all the communal areas have been designed with your comfort and ease in mind. Your friends are welcome, the house has a naturally inviting atmosphere.
The neighbourhood is quiet and there’s very little traffic noise from the road which is a privilege considering its very central location and proximity to shops and services.
The kitchen is fully equipped, you’ll find everything you need for cooking and preparing meals. Induction hob, oven and microwave oven, fridge/freezer, a toaster, a kettle and other kitchen appliances. A granite kitchen table for 4 or 5 people.
Dining room / Living room
A large table for 6 to 8 people. The television in the living room will give you access to more than 100 channels including CNN and BBC, there is a DVD reader as well.
The garden enjoys a south facing aspect. You’ll find a barbecue and garden furniture to enjoy outdoor dining. In May and June each year the garden comes to life with blossoms and flowers, the facade of the house gets covered with scented roses. This is a beautiful time of year in Fontainebleau, going for walks in the park of the chateau de Fontainebleau is highly recommended.
The utility room
Equipped with a washing machine and an electric dryer, as well as clothes dryers.
The cleaning lady
Comes once a week in the apartments and communal areas. She will take your comments into consideration, you may ask her to iron clothes for you, or to tidy the house after a party or celebration, these extra fees will have to be covered by the residents.
Running at your arrival, high-speed internet and sockets in all the bedrooms. No need to worry about gas bills, electricity bills, water and so on.
However, as a resident of a fully furnished apartment, you are required to be insured for civil responsibility or 'responsabilité civile', a standard procedure in France. Your french bank can insure you for this, or another broker of your choice. We can help you with getting insurance for an additional fee, just ask.
